About this Project

I’m so proud of my most recent job which is now complete. The Spalding’s wanted to completely remodel their dated kitchen and update their sand and finish floors and railings. I designed for them a new large open space, removing the angled corner to allow for the largest island we’ve done. We tripled their island size to give them a large open feel and moved double oven next to the new large double column refrigerator/freezer units. This kitchen also includes: a new modern farm sink, commercial grade sprayer faucet, under counter microwave, a full cabinet dedicated to charging laptop/phones & devices, appliance garage and spice/trash cabinets.

I worked closely with client on selection of her all new Thermodor appliance package which was designed to be flush to face of her new Inset cabinets. We “stacked” upper cabinets with an 18″ unit above uppers to give client even more space and allow us to finish to her 9′ ceilings with crown. A marble backsplash with under counter lighting and all cabinets topped with a new “Leathered” granite called Shadow Storm which brings everything together. We removed all the old dark sand and finish hardwood on main and second floor and installed all new white oak wide plank natural white wash pre-finished flooring. We removed all red oak stair treads on main and rear stair and installed white oak and finished to match new floor. We also replaced all the newel posts with a new “craftsman” style post and all new painted square balusters, stained rails and new color. We removed knee walls between columns at family room to open the space which created a new more modern feel. My client is so excited with the new updates we provided.
